WHAT IS THE PROCESS TO GET STARTED WITH THERAPY OR AN EVALUATION?
HOW DO I GET STARTED?
Our process is easy. If you or your child has not had a recent evaluation in the past six months we will schedule an evaluation. Following the evaluation, we will determine whether therapy is warranted and set up services. This process is the same for both group and individual therapy. Our therapists need to meet and evaluate new clients in order to determine what type and frequency of therapy will best meet their needs.
CAN WE DO AN INFORMAL EVALUATION IF MY CHILD WAS RECENTLY EVALUATED?
Yes. If you have a recent (six months or less) speech-language evaluation we will ask you to share that with us when we meet with your child in order to do an informal evaluation to see if the goals/treatment decision continues to meet your child's needs.
HOW LONG ARE YOUR THERAPY SESSIONS AND HOW OFTEN WILL YOU SEE ME OR MY CHILD?
Sessions are anywhere from 30-60 minutes in length. Most sessions are 45 minutes long.
Clients are seen anywhere from 1-3 times per week depending on their communication needs.
We work with clients and families in our clinics in Westmont and Naperville. We provide teletherapy for anyone in the state of Illinois and some of our therapists are licensed for teletherapy in other states (California). We provide world-wide consultations/coaching on gestalt language development and echolalia to professionals and parents.
WILL YOU COMMUNICATE WITH MY CHILD'S SCHOOL, OTHER THERAPIST, AND/OR PEDIATRICIAN?
We love collaborating with outside schools, providers, and medical professionals. We are happy to email or schedule phone consultations with any member of your child's team (anything 15 minutes or less is free of charge).
DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE:
WE ARE OUT OF NETWORK PROVIDERS
Social Butterfly, Inc. will be out of network with all private insurance as of 10-01-23. As a courtesy to our clients we will bill your private insurance as an out of network provider. The payment will come directly to you (if any) and we will bill you directly on the day on service.
OUT OF POCKET
Services are provided at the following fee schedule:
$300 Speech-Language Assessment with formal report and treatment plan (45-60 minutes)
$200 Informal Speech-Language Assessment without formal report, JUST treatment plan (30-45 minutes)
$166 60 minute therapy session (55 minute session, 5 minute notes/parent contact)
$125 45 minute therapy session (40 minute session, 5 minute notes/ parent contact)
$83 30 minute therapy session (25 minute session, 5 minute notes/parent contact)
$125/hr attendance at IEP meetings and school observations
$125-$225/hr junior-senior consultations with providers or parents
