This is a question that comes up a lot. Can social language be targeted in individual sessions? Do children with social language needs always need a group? It's a tricky question because there is no one answer! Many children can benefit from working on pragmatic skills both 1:1 with a SLP and also in a small group setting. Not sure what your child needs? Schedule an evaluation. Make sure it includes a parent interview.
