Our social language groups target all areas of communication that affect socializing and friendship. Special focus is given to game play, conversation skills (initiating, maintaining a topic, asking questions and making comments) and nonverbal language (eye contact, body language, gestures).
Groups meet once per week for 40 minutes.
BCBS PPO insurance is accepted

Play With Me
Social groups for our youngest children
Play with Me (Ages 3.5-6)
Wednesdays @ 4pm
Saturdays @ 10:15am
Play builds language! In these groups children will address conversation skills and social skills needed for play and friendship. Video modeling and stories are used to teach concepts such as asking friends to play and sharing toys. Groups will incorporate movement and music to address all types of play from board games to party games and pretend play.

Tuesdays @ 6:15pm
Let's Talk groups are geared toward the child struggling with peer relationships, social problem solving and conversation. Video modeling, role play and games are used to target areas of difficulty.
Tweens & Teens
A group for our preteens and teenagers
Hanging Out (ages 14-18)
Mondays @ 7:15 pm
Tweens and Teens face different social communication difficulties once in middle and high school. Topics covered include: nonverbal communication (reading body language and facial expressions), initiating hang outs with friends, texting etiquette, humor (understanding and effectively using it), social problem solving at school and with friends
